Review of Jupiter Farms, Florida

Don't Look Back
Star Rating - 5/13/2014
Small town with new influx of income, mostly from people buying homes and second homes east of Military. Enthusiasm with which business owners embrace new opportunity far outdistances talent to meet expectations, at this time.
Relocated northerners have brought music and theatre to the community which is a strong plus. The natural geography of inlet and beaches is unsurpassable in tranquility and beauty.
1996's original settlers to the Farms have the distinct inability to see the current status of their neighborhood, with all its possibilities and attractiveness for those who wish to buy an acre or more at great prices, and this is the biggest impediment to community spirit and great neighborhoods. Homeowners have a chronic lack of reason to manicure their property in a selective fashion, like cutting down overgrowth for starters. If property owners could stop looking back twenty years, and do the necessary improvements, home values could increase at the same rate as homes east of Military (28% y2y rather than 14% y2y. When The Farms residents correct their backward vision, this diamond in the rough neighbor hood will outshine all properties except those precisely on ocean and inlets.
